Clinical staff move constantly through a hospital and can't count on a stable connection. If the tool stalls offline, rounds, task assignments, and patient follow-ups get missed, so it had to stay fully usable with no network and never lose data.
I built the patient-rounds experience end to end so teams can keep working with no connection and never lose an entry once they're back online. That work won Compass's "Code Maestro" award in March 2024, selected from 50 developers. From its 2024 pilot it has since rolled out to more than 20 hospitals and units across the United States. I also hardened the wider product, fixing reliability issues that were degrading daily use.
